I want to log 100 kilometers this week.
Sounds scarier than it is, I hope. I have been a little sloppy with getting enough cardio in over the summer - okay, I admit it - very sloppy. So, as we say goodbye to the lazy days of August, I want to challenge myself to a weekly kilometer race! I chose the number 100 quite randomly, but I figure I’ll do most of it on the bike and a few kms here and there walking and running with the dog. Just can’t let myself get behind a day.
I’m sure I’ll end up doing more yoga this week as well to stretch out my out-of-shape muscles. This week is going to be just what I need! I haven’t given myself a push like this is too long, so I’m hoping I not only reach my goal, but get a few extra kilometers in there for good measure!
Today I logged 15 kilometers. Not a bad start, but I’m definitely going to aim higher tomorrow! The poor pup was soo exhausted from his adventuring at the lake this weekend that he slept all day long and didn’t even want to go for a walk! Tomorrow he should be back to his usual self and help me knock off 4 or 5 kms too! Good night all! Think healthy thoughts! ;)
