I have always loved pizza, so it was pretty imperative that I figured out a healthy alternative to the typical cheese-covered &amp; over-processed junk we call “fast food”. I’ve tried lots of different variations - &amp; I encourage you to do the same - but for me this is the easiest and simplest variation that tantalizes my taste-buds without &lt;/span&gt;endangering&lt;span&gt; my waistline or morals. ;) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Green Pizza Sauce:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 2 small ripe avocados (or 1 big)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 1 clove garlic, minced&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 1/8 cup diced red onion &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 30 mL lime juice &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;(~1/2 lime)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 1 cup of your favorite mixed herbs; I chose dill, parsley, basil,thyme &amp; a little bit of sage&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Mash up the &lt;/span&gt;ingredients&lt;span&gt; in a bowl, it’s basically a simple &lt;/span&gt;guacamole&lt;span&gt; recipe. Licking the spoons is totally allowed here. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Toppings: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 1/2 tomato, thinly sliced&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 6 or 8 red pepper slices&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- red onion slices&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;- few leaves of spinach&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- handful of mixed herbs, here I used basil, parsley, chives &amp; dill&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- lemon zest (grated using a small setting on cheese grater works just fine)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;You can lay on your toppings in any order you like, but I like to play a little with the colors and shapes and make each ‘za a little different. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Crust:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;- Here I used some easy-to-find organic spinach tortillas that are available in most grocery stores. You can find gluten-free options too, always check ingredients just to make sure you know what you’re putting into your body. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;- To keep this green pizza as fresh and raw as possible, I bake mine on a low setting (~225&lt;span&gt;°)&lt;/span&gt; for&lt;span&gt; roughly 10 minutes with only the sauce on it - no toppings. I add the toppings on when I take it out of the oven so that they stay fresh &amp; alive when I eat them and so the flavors &amp; nutrients are at their best.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- If you have the time and are interested, there are some raw pizza crust recipes floating around the internet or in raw recipe books. They take some time but are quite delicious too!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;So play around with different fruit and veggie combinations and see what you like! You can have a different pizza pretty much every time if you want. My favorite&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; toppings include: lemon zest, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, pineapple &amp; spinach. &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sunshine Juice: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 6  navel oranges&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 2 lemons&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- handful of mint leaves&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Depending on the size of your oranges this makes about 500-600 mL of juice. Pour into a glass with mint and enjoy! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;Citrus Salad: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 3 clementines&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 3 blood oranges&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- 1 navel orange&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- lemon/lime juice &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span&gt;- mint leaves&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cut into wedges and enjoy with lemon or lime juice on top.
